The NE-DBIC provides support to dairy businesses through projects that promote the development, production, marketing, and distribution of dairy products. Projects target dairy farms and processors while providing additional support through market research and technical assistance. The Center’s investment and project strategy promotes innovation and resiliency for regional production of dairy products.
Connecticut Dairy is offering a rolling grant application open until April 30, 2023. Dairy promotion projects submitted for this grant must be used to build trust in dairy and/or promote dairy consumption in general, not a specific brand. Funded projects will be eligible for grant funds of up to $4,178.57 to improve public perception of dairy farming and/or increase consumption of dairy products. Projects should focus on engaging with Youth (5-25 years old) or Millennial Consumers (26-42 years old).
The total grant funding available is $29,249.99. Grants will be available on a rolling basis until all funding is awarded. It is suggested that you apply as soon as you can for the best chance of having your project funded and completed in the time frame.
